PROJECT AP6

Aaron's AP6 Valiant V8 has been in the family for three generations.  Showing signs of age but a solid running complete car, plans are for a largely standard appearing resto but with a built 390 and beefed up driveline for a nice weekend cruiser.

Originally purchased from Japan with a few tasty modifications, we have used this as our test mule.  After finding most of its weak points including an excursion into turn 8 wall at Mallala, we are now running with the current setup including:

  • Built RB26 with -7 turbos thanks to ATS

  • Built RB25 box thanks to Diff & Gearbox Specialists

  • Motorsport spec twin ceramic plate clutch thanks to Xtreme

  • R32 GTR brake setp running PMU Club Racer disc pads & fluid

  • Custom in-house braided brake & clutch lines

  • Motul 300V Engine oil, gearbox/diff oils & coolant

Further plans are for an upgraded E85 fuel system and revised suspension package.

TIGA RACE CAR

The Tiga has been lovingly rebuilt and restored to its former glory by Ken Stratton. For avid race fans, you can catch this historic rotary-powered beast frequently lapping Mallala and other race tracks around the country.
